State Route 20A Access Management Plan

Town and Village of Geneseo, Livingston County, New York

The Village of Geneseo is a National Landmark and is situated on the western edge of the Finger Lakes region. The town is rural with many farms, but is also the home to SUNY Geneseo, a prestigious state school. Given the juxtaposition of the expansive landscape and densely populated village, the Village and Town boards have realized the critical importance of having an area-wide plan in which to direct growth and development while maintaining access and mobility for all modes of transportation. SRF & Associates is spear-heading this effort which includes the coordination of multiple agencies and stakeholders as well as conducting a detailed analysis of existing and future conditions; as well as identifying strategies and planning to best manage access to the region’s goods and services while enhancing the economic vitality of the area.
