NYS Route 55 Project

As part of the design team, SRF & Associates was responsible for conceptual design and analysis of two proposed roundabouts for the NY Route 55 LaGrange Town Center project. The analysis of the easternmost roundabout was particularly detailed due to the proposed realignment of a school driveway to the roundabout. School officials were especially concerned with length of delay for school buses exiting during peak hour periods. The roundabout analysis and visualization took into account exact discharge times and number of buses from two adjacent schools to simulate actual operating conditions.
