Cayuga Medical Center is located at the southwest end of Cayuga Lake, northwest of the City of Ithaca, in the Town of Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York. SRF & Associates documented current parking supply, projected future parking demand, and recommended parking demand management strategies for each type of user (staff, patient, visitors, and others).  An extensive parking and circulation survey was conducted, with the goal to define the parking trends and demands that are being experienced today, and to compare parking metrics of the Cayuga Medical Center to similar type facilities.   Interim parking solutions were developed to relieve current parking congestion adjacent to the front entrance (Emergency Department).  Long term parking solutions are based on the future campus master plan, and a Parking Demand Management Program was recommended to be adopted by the medical center to accommodate future parking needs .
