Jewitt Holmwood Residential Development

This development was located near the east branch of Cazenovia Creek in the Town of Aurora, Erie County, New York. SRF & Associates prepared a Traffic Impact Study for the proposed Jewett Holmwood Residential Development that consisted of 33 single-family residential lots. While a relatively small residential development, this project posed challenges for positioning access points that afforded adequate sight distance.

Radar speed studies and sight distance measurements were performed on two different sections of Jewitt Holmwood Road. Wetlands, steep slopes, and wooded areas were additional factors considered for this development when determining access points.
