SRF & Associates prepared a traffic impact study related to the construction of a new 800 space parking garage replacing two existing surface parking lots in the University Hill area of Syracuse. Responsibilities included data collection, analysis of parking lot activity, as well as the existing and projected traffic conditions throughout the surrounding area of the proposed garage which includes a network of one-way and two-way streets. The evaluation also included analysis of entry and exit gate capacities, queuing, and evaluation of special event traffic.
