Career opportunities are available for Traffic Engineers and Transportation Planners. Candidates should have a degree in engineering, planning, or related field and have 1-10 years work experience. Applicants must be familiar with traffic impact analyses and common industry software for traffic operations and simulations, eg. HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, and VISSIM. GIS and/or TransCAD experience is a plus. Applicants must also have experience composing technical reports and public speaking experience is highly desirable.
